Human beings are selfish by nature. We do not need to be taught how to put our interest first.
Often times, men gets to the cross road of choosing if they should satisfy themselves or forsake satisfaction for the bigger picture.
Yet the irony is this. What men thought could satisfy themselves would easily be faded to the background of their lives. Either by time; when they lose the satisfaction when they found a new object of lust, or by guilt; when they realized what they done was wrong and their guilt overwhelms their satisfaction. Looks like this consions thing is really powerful.
As such, it seems to me that the right decisions could be easily choosen when we consider the long term effect. Choose a godly decision, one that is not self-seeking but beneficial for people and eventually yourself. One that you could live with.
All this sounds easy! And obvious. To all people of all nationality and religion. Yup! That’s right. But in issues like these, we did not take into account the problem of grey areas and what might seem like it. (you know. When it’s obviously wrong but you kinda lie to yourself)
So how?! This is when my dear fellow Christians can find an ans when they walk right with God and ask God to evalute their motives. And well for the rest. You just have to think hard and search your heart and be as honest to yourselves as possible.
Everyone wants to make right and good choices. Everyone wants a good life with as little flaw as possible. But only the wise one who search deep and see his heart’s motive gets it.

Today’s lesson taught me not to decieve myself and wait for God’s perfect timing.
U know. When the thing you love is just withine your reach!! You just have to extand your hand. But you kinda know that it is not the best time. BUT!! at the same time you are afraid that the chance of getting the thing might not come again.
Such are the times where my principle are tested. And dear Joseph compromised today :/

well, had another nice fellowship with aloy.. talking about stuff like relationship and stuff..
But anyway.. i really enjoy such company! i really do enjoy people.. talking.. sharing passions.. listening to concerns.. openning our lives and being accountable to each other.. ahh thats nice..
Oh well, friends are really important.. but when it comes to good friend.. i realise i am rather picky.. and I have a rather long cool off period.. but ahh.. Joseph will see beyond your weakness and bad points if you get into his list of close friends..

Somehow.. something is keeping me up at this hour..450.. and well i guess i’m not intending to sleep since i’m going out soon..
I wonder whats bothering me.. keeping me awake.. Its either the later dinner i had at 1am.. or perhaps all my worries are flooding me.. or maybe its just that its getting stuffy..
Omg.. i doze off at 2am.. but aGent.jiajian had to sms me to rant about his taxi ride. Evil… evil.. evil…

Sometimes, we grumble when things don’t go our way. When reality fall shorts of our dream. When we don’t get what we want.
I guess I’m such a person and being an idealist, I almost always don’t see things happen the way I deem best.
Yet, I randomly thought and realize how blessed I am. Those things that I don’t notice or have taken for granted was a big enough blessing for me. Just being able to sleep and know i’m safe is something that I ought to appreciate more. Thx agent jiajian. But yeah, I mean sometimes we should learn to take note and delight in the things we already have. And we would notice that we actually are not in lack.
Yes! Be joyful always! For we know that all we ever needed is inside us. That is Christ Jesus our Lord! And our loving God is watching over us. And he dosent fall asleep.
